Bavaria Yachts.

Here, since 1979, Bavaria has been applying the principles of German engineering and European craftsmanship to building sailing yachts. Last year, in fact, we built over 2,000 boats, every one made to order, using computer-aided design and manufacturing techniques on the most innovative production line in boatbuilding".

 Bavaria Cruiser Series.

The Cruiser series reinforces Bavaria’s reputation for building yachts with truly aesthetic lines, but it doesn’t stop there. Above deck, the cockpit has teak seats and sole and a teak folding table with storage beneath. All lines are led to the cockpit for easy sail handling. The newly restyled Cruiser series features light-hued varnished mahogany woodwork, a large salon illuminated by large deck skylights and fixed hull ports. Natural cross ventilation is achieved by the placement of numerous opening ports and hatches. Sailing potential and livability, a classic combination, and classic Bavaria.

Bavaria Vision Series.

 Increased standard equipment, a new dimension in speed potential by using new hull designs, a ballast ratio of above 35%, and significantly increased sail areas – BAVARIA's new VISION line.

Yates Alemanes / Bavaria Yachts at Palma 2009.

Bavaria will be presenting two new models at Palma - the motor yacht Bavaria Deep Blue 46 and the sailing yacht Bavaria 55 Cruiser. The elegant Bavaria 55 Cruiser comes from a collaboration with the highly acclaimed Bruce Farr Yacht Design group. The dynamic motor yacht Deep Blue 46 is the first progeny of a new collaboration between Bavaria, Bruce Farr design and BMW Group Designworks in the USA. The product of this relationship, which combines visionary automotive design skills with proven yacht design features, has been well received by Bavaria clients and the nautical press. These new offerings from Bavaria will be presented in Spain during the Palma International Boat Show from the 25th of April till the 3rd of May.

Bavaria 55 Cruiser by Bruce Farr.

The new Bavaria 55 Cruiser is a beautiful 55-footer with a lot of volume – it is available in 3, 4 or 5-cabin versions. With a total length of 16,72 m the new Bavaria 55 Cruiser is 1,20 m longer and 25 cm wider than the second largest model in the range - the 51 Cruiser. The increase in size is apparent not only below deck but also in the larger foredeck sun bathing area (5 m in length), in the larger swimming platform (2 square metres) and in the larger stern dinghy garage. The dimensions of the cockpit are generous and allow up to 10 people to sail and sit comfortably. For increased performance and safety the yacht is equipped with a double rudder system. The interior layout has been ingeniously designed to allow for reconfiguration options eg after charter to owner use with a switch from five to four cabins or from four to three cabins.

Bavaria Deep Blue 46 by BMW Group Designworks.

This new motor yacht from Bavaria is very new and very different. With a total length of 14,20 m this is the biggest power boat the shipyard has ever built and bears a distinctive appearance created by BMW Group Designworks USA. The Deep Blue had its world debut during the boatshow “boot” in Düsseldorf/Germany and will premiere in Spain at Palma 2009. She is available in three versions - as “Open”, “Sport Top” and “Flybridge”. The interiors are light and spacious and with generous cabin headroom of 2.10 m. Clients can choose between two or three cabin versions. The deck layout provides an abundance of seating and relaxing areas to enjoy the sun. A broad swimming platform and an integrated dinghy garage are provided - also an optional wetbar with barbecue. The yacht is equipped with very reliable Volvo-Penta D6 diesel engines with a choice of a 2 x 330 hp version or the more powerful option of 2 x 370 hp.
