The Bavaria Cruiser 45 ( 14.27 mts ) during sea trials in the Bay of
Palma de Mallorca. First presented at the "Boot"
in Dussledorf in January the Cruiser 45 made it's debut in the water at
Palma Boat Show 2010. The Cruiser 45 is the creation of a collaboration between Farr Yacht
Design and BMW DesignworksUSA.
´It is truly incredible what we achieved in the past year´,
says Andres Cardenas, CEO BAVARIA. ´Following the extremely successful
introductions of BAVARIAs flagship, the CRUISER 55, and the CRUISER 32
we are pleased to present the new CRUISER 45 to the market.´ The third yacht from BAVARIAs new CRUISER line assures the maximum of
safety, easy handling and more performance thanks to a twin rudder
system. The bathing platform, accessible over three rear steps,
stretches over the entire boat´s width and once closed features as a
comfortable helmsmen seat. Underneath deck, the CRUISER 45 is an absolute novelty for a yacht in
her sector: besides a flexible interior, the sailing yacht offers three
toilet rooms and one separate shower cabin.
´The concept with its voluminous hull and independent design is close to the previously introduced two new models. But we have improved some of our features: we fitted additional hatches to ensure more sunlight floods the interior, for example. The CRUISER 45 will re-define the standards in the top sector´, adds Andres Cardenas. The BAVARIA shipyard remains loyal to its philosophy and offers the CRUISER 45 for €145.500 excluding VAT – a truly unique price-value-ratio.
