The Sanlorenzo Story.
The Italian Sanlorenzo shipyard is dedicated to the production of
tailor-made motoryachts. Since 1958, Sanlorenzo’s building
philosophy has always been to provide clients with unbeatable
quality custom built motor yachts. Sanlorenzo, is ranked 6th
shipyard in the world ranking of the Top Builders (Global Build
Report 2008). Sanlorenzo is based on two shipyards: the Ameglia
Division, for the production of GRP planing motoryachts of between
62 and 108 feet LOA, and the new Viareggio Division (with first
launchings in 2007), for the production of navettas in composite
material with semi-displacement hull of between 92 and 122 feet. The
Viareggio division also builds superyachts in aluminium (the 40
alloy model) and in steel-aluminium ( 44 mtrs ).

Sanlorenzo SL72
|
|
The SL72
represents a classic design for the shipyard. It is a
22m motor yacht, designed to comfortably accommodate up
to eight guests plus two crew members. The completely
redesigned interior layout creates much more space in
the salon and provides superb panoramic views. The SL72
employs the perfect mix of high quality materials, for
which Sanlorenzo is famous. The combination of Zebrano
wood with white surfaces and white lacquered glass on
the cupboards enhances the feeling of spaciousness. The
new leather floors in the dinette and pilothouse give
the yacht a noble touch of style and design. True to
Sanlorenzo standards, only the finest and highest
quality textiles and leathers have been used throughout
the entire yacht. The total redesign has been undertaken
by the Minotti Design studios under the direction of
Stefanie Haupt. The redesigned galley
incorporates a large retractable hatch to the dinette
area for improved service. The pilothouse has been
re-arranged for a more ergonomic layout and placing of
the navigational instruments. The master cabin is more
spacious and incorporates a full beam bathroom. A novel
feature is an electrically operated panel which reveals
a clear glass wall between the bathroom and master cabin
which enhances the feeling of spaciousness. The master
bathroom incorporates the use of the exclusive Pietra
Luna stone. Design changes also include an improved
outlook from the aft deck. The flybridge has a more
spacious feel and incorporates integrated sun beds.
Three engine versions are offered on the SL72: MAN V12 - 1360, MAN
V12 - 1550 or 2 MTU 10V2000M93 developing 1390 HP and 1520 HP
respectively. The top speed is 31 knots
Sanlorenzo SL82
The SL82, with its 24 metres of length,
is in the middle of the Sanlorenzo range and
incorporates all the widely acclaimed Sanlorenzo
characteristics. The SL82 is of a size that facilitates
both long distance cruising whilst retaining the
convenience of handling for day or weekend cruising. The
outer layout of the SL82 follows the well established
Sanlorenzo style and provides the perfect shell for well
laid out and comfortable interiors which are customised
to each owner’s requirements from a wide range décor
options. On the main deck is located the living area,
the dining area, and the galley with directly access to
the pilot house. On the lower deck is located an
especially large master cabin which has been placed at
the centre of the boat. There are also a VIP cabin and
two twin bed cabins, all of which have private
bathrooms. The yacht design has been undertaken by the
Minotti Design studios under the direction of
Stefanie Haupt.
Changes have been made to the aft deck which
incorporates a jetski platform. This feature releases
more space on the flybridge. The flybridge redesign has
been at the hands of Paula Lenti. The SL82 comes with
two Caterpillar C32 engines, which allow a maximum speed
of about 31 knots.
Sanlorenzo SL88
In the recent restyling of the Sanlorenzo range the 27 metres long
SL88 has retained the classic Sanlorenzo style
features whilst incorporating
technological innovations to produce a motor yacht of great
impact. The SL88 incorporates large windows which produces an
abundance of light in the main deck rooms. Designer Stephanie Haupt
from Munich has made superb use of lighting systems and furniture to
optomize and soften the
living areas. The outcome is that the SL88 appears even more
spacious than previously. The exhibited SL88 is completely equipped
by FENDI. The SL88 comes
with 2 Caterpillar C32 ACERT engines which generate 1415 kw and a
top speed of 28 knot or with 2 MTU 16V 2000 M92 engines generating
1630 kw which produces a top speed of 30 knots.

dinette, the galley finished in wenge wood and granite,
