From Mao / Mahon to Cala Galdana.

City and Port of Mao - formerly Mahon - is located at the head of a long sea passage - supposedly the second largest natural harbour in the world after Hawaii ? - a popular cruise ship destination - popular with yachtsmen with moorings alongside the waterside strip of restaurants and on floating moorings. The many eateries alongside the main seaway and numerous smaller calas ( inlets ) are frequested by both residents and visitors. Cala Figuera with a plethora of fish restaurants is of particul note.
