Best of Yachting Port Adriano 2015 closes a second and "successful" edition and attracts more than 4,000 visitors

Monday 25 May 2015.- " Mission accomplished ." This is the main conclusion reached by Mrs. Isabel Teruel , (director of Operation for Port Adriano) after hosting the second edition of Best of Yachting Port Adriano 2015. This second edition of the Boat Show closes its doors with more than 4.000 visitors, wich is almost 1,000 more than last year.

These figures support good performance that this event has had and specially dedicated to the marine industry in particular, receiving also general public visitors, whether they were boat owners or not said Mrs. Teruel. These three days (22nd, 23rd and 24th May ) Port Adriano facilities have hosted a large exhibition of vessels of different styles and lengths , with various recreational sport and leisure activities. This combination of business and pleasure, as mentioned by Mrs. Teruel , " has made the companies based in the port and also the external companies that have participated very happy due to the amount of visitors that came to the fair".

Best of Yachting Port Adriano has hosted for three days different activities and events aimed at all audiences, from an important boat parade in which enrolled a total of 28 vessels of different styles, to exhibitions of luxury cars like McLaren and Bentley also a show by Jet Lev Nauti- Parts Company , a lively kids party and a fashion show among many other activities .

In this sense it is worth a special mention for the Fashion Catwalk organized by Isabel Coll and Juan del Rio ,where they presented a lively show of music , fashion and colour with the latest trends in clothing, accessories and shoes that can be found in various shops located in Port Adriano. In our unique setting , with luxury megayachts as a backdrop a dozen of professional models showed the best looks and collections of Rosemarine , Show Shoes , Dress & Co. , Gaastra and Lirouage Mallorca , all stores in Port Adriano.

Therefore, three very intense days that have proven a great success, these results make the organization of Best of yachting port Adriano to start work already on the next edition 2016. In this sense, the director of Operation bluntly states that " we will repeat next year with new concepts that we are already preaparing " .

A charity event

Best of Yachting Port Adriano also wanted to dedicate part of its efforts to the most needy . In this sense, and through the company Nauti - Parts, who kindly launched a rental service of Go- Cycle, Ninebot , Segway and Yes- we- Bike. where 50% of proceeds will go to benefit the Association of Parents of Children with Cancer Baleares ( ASPANOB ) .

Port Adriano Sup Race

This race the third edition of Port Adriano Surf Race Coincided with the second edition of Best of Yachting. the first event of the European Tour paddle surf ' Euro Tour'.

This race that was organized by the Balearic Sea paddle surf school , one of most prestigious paddle surf schools most prestigious nationwide and located in the facilities of Port Adriano , headed by Majorcan champion Laura Quetglas and her partner Manuel Simoncelli .

On Saturday the first trials of the ' Long Distance' race in which 12 Spanish were winners out of the 180 participants on the other hand on Sunday hosted the last called ' Sprint Series' which was divided into different categories.

The awards ceremony for both races was held at the end of the day on and was attended by Isabel Teruel , director of Operations of Port Adriano as well as the officials from the school .

Twelve Spaniards among the winners of the Port Adriano Sup Race, first event for the European Tour of paddle surf ' Euro Tour'

Over180 participants from diferent parts of the word have participated. In the “elite·” category of 14 kilometres the winners are Travis Grant from australia and Sonny Honschein form Germany. In the “elite” category of 12.5 kilometres the winners have been Toni Marti and Daniela Betancout from Spain. In the “amateur” category the winners are Daniel Garcia and Cristina Rozalén

Saturday, 23rd of May 2015. On the second day of the Best of Yachting Port Adriano we have celebrated the Port Adriano Sup Race, the first race on the European padel surf circuit “euro tour”. An increasingly recognized sporting event, which this year celebrates its third edition. Heading the organization are Balearic Sea, one of the most prestigious surf paddle schools nationwide and located in the facilities of Port Adriano, Balearic sea has the honour to be managed by Majorcan champion Laura Quetglas and her partner Manuel Simoncelli.

Both of them have been very satisfied with the results of the first day of the race, Port Adriano Sup Race is divided into two different types of races: the first one, this Saturday May the 23rd took place the “Long Distance” envet with its different categories and distance and more than € 10,000 in prize money, while today we will take place the next races ' Sprint series '

Today's race (Saturday), as commented by Manuel Simoncelli , " has been a tough and exciting, as the conditions have forced participants to implement all there skills in rowing, surfing against the wind." However, he added, "participants have done really well. " Some athletes, he explains, "came with a high level, they have just participated in the world championship held in Mexico and in which Laura Quetglas also took part ". Manuel concluded saying "it has been a luxury."

Second Day of Best of Yachting

Apart from the celebration of this race, the second day of Best of yachting as had many more activities.

Besides the party held last night on the terrace of Best of Yachting, and where we could see some of the major personalities of the Balearic society at national and international level, during the day the port hosted various exhibitions, sports activities , games for children as well as the grand opening of the summer in one of the bars with more “hype” of the port, East Coast .

Best of Yachting Port Adriano 2015 has recorded large influx of visitors on its first day

This second edition of the boat show, includes a large variety of sports and leisure activities, opening from today and will run until Sunday, May 24th. Best Of Yachting Port Adriano 2015 is an open event with free access,free parking and free Wifi for all visitors. This saturday, and coinciding with Best of Yachting Port Adriano 2015, Port Adriano will host its Sub Race

Friday 22nd of May 2015.- Best of Yachting Port Adriano 2015 could not start with better forecast. This second edition of our nautical fair that also brings our ports summer season opening, has received a large number of visitors on its first day. In this sense Isabel Teruel, operations manager of Port Adriano, said that " to be a working Friday we have noted that there has been a good amount of visitor and we expect an increase throughout the afternoon." Therefore and after the success of last year, Mrs. Teruel also spoke about the expectations for this year, being these to exceed the number of visitors reaching 4000. This is a boat show that will last three days, until Sunday May 24th, and it aims to unite business and leisure, and in words of Isabel Teruel, " this show began exclusively dedicated for the marine industry, but as the time as gone by it has evolved and has become an event for all audiences whether they have a boat or not"

Therefore and for three days the main companies of nautical, sports , automotive and fashion, both national and international, will present will their services and major developments.

In addition, the best of yachting boat show will host a charity event therefore Nauti -Parts Company, will hire a service of “Go- Cycle”, “ninebot” , “Segway” and “Yes- we- Bike”, 50 % ofall proceeds and income will be donated to the Association of Parents of Children with Cancer Baleares ( ASPANOB ).

Port Adriano Sup Race

Coinciding with Best Of Yachting Port Adriano 2015, this Saturday May 23rd, the first round of the European Tour for paddle surf ' Euro Tour' will take place. Port Adriano Sub Race is a race organized by the Balearic sea school of paddle, headed by Majorcan champion Laura Quetglas who will take part among more than 180 athletes involved in different levels.

So, on Saturday 23rd and Sunday 24th two types of competitions will take place, the first feature will be 'long distance', with a cash prize of 10,000 euros, and then Sunday our second feature will sprint series ' with prizes in paddle and surf material .

This sporting event reunites high number of Majorcan athletes together with other athletes from different parts of the world. over 180 participants noting that 80 are foreigners from Hawaii, Mexico, Australia , United States, Germany , Italy and Croatia.

Best of Yachting at Port Adriano is getting under way with a parade this evening of some 25 boats with many more on display over the weekend. So if you are looking for a new or pre-owned yacht, to examine charter yacht options or to enjoy fine food, fashion shows or entertainment for the family then Port Adriano is the place for you this weekend.

For the energetic SUP races will be taking place and Nauti-Parts will have an extensive range of nautical and land toys to view. Many of the 'toys' on display may be hired with 50% of the proceeds going in support of the Association of Parents of Children with Cancer Baleares ( ASPANOB ).

The nautical and sports sectors main companies come together in Best of Yachting Port Adriano 2015

The nautical and sports sectors main companies at a national and international level plus fashion and motorsport companies as well, will meet together between 22nd and 24th of May in Port Adriano in this second edition of Best of Yachting Port Adriano. During the days of the sailing and sports fair A total of 16 companies will be staging at Port Adriano their displays and present its main innovations and services.

This event, held for the second consecutive year and that as established itself as an important date for the nautical sector. After the success of last year, the organization expects to exceed the number of visitors, and the port are expecting an attendance of over more than 4,000 people.

Such is the success achieved, that in words of Isabel Teruel the director of Operations for Port Adriano "all companies that participated last year have repeated ". Mrs. Teruel also said that we must add the new companies, and that "now we have more demand from companies that of space available on land or sea at the Best of yachting.

We would like to highlight the different length boat parade to be held on Friday, May 22nd starting at 20:00 hrs. this will be an important boat show display of all different styles and sizes.

The above mentioned parade will be organized by Isabel Coll and Juan River and aims to present to all assistants the latest trends this season and the different options that can be found in stores of Port Adriano.

Best of Yachting Port Adriano on the Top of Yacht Shipyards on May 22nd, 23rd and 24th

The second edition of Best of Yachting Port Adriano together, once again, to the best Yachts shipyard, an indispensable event that will take place on May 22nd, 23rd and 24th. The event shows the best nautical offers as well as national and international broker. For this occasion, Port Adriano has planned a full schedule of activities with the only objective of enjoying the best exhibition and boats fleet. Therefore, it has organized an extensive program of entertainment: parties, presentations and exhibitions.

The first edition exceeded 4,000 visitors over the three days of the event and, in this occasion, the organization hopes to surpass it.

The event is organized by the International Shipyards based on Port Adriano: Sunseeker Mallorca, Princess Motor Yacht & Sales, FYS Baleares, Yacht Moments, Ventura Yachts, Fipa Group y Frauscher Spain, which will exhibit yachts from 6 up to 40 metres.

The sponsors of Best of Yachting Port Adriano -Ponent Yachts, Nauti-Parts, Bentley Frankfurt, Tecnogym and Terraza Balear- will present their products and innovations during the event.

The novelty this year is a Boat Parade –with the yachts Shipyards- and also, a fashion parade with the latest trends, organized by Port Adriano’s shops.

Last but not least, Best of Yachting Port Adriano coincides with Stand UP RACE (May, 23rd, 24th and 25th), one of the most relevant Paddel Surf events worldwide. The event will be led by Laura Quetglas, one of the best paddle surfers of the whole world.
