A bright start to the season.

Success for the Sunseeker Open Days in Port Adriano, Mallorca from 3 to 5 May 2013

This year’s Sunseeker Open Days held from 3 to 5 May 2013 in Port Adriano, Mallorca, were concluded with a positive result. The second edition of the in-house boat show organized by Sunseeker Mallorca offered the perfect platform for private yacht viewings with tailored recommendations, and has become an important social gathering of like-minded yacht enthusiasts. Both existing customers and prospective buyers attended the three-day event held in front of the Sunseeker Mallorca offices located in Port Adriano, who hosted the “Superyacht Days” at the same time. Despite a lower attendance than last year, the genuine buyers came out in force, selling three yachts from 52 to 82 feet with further  purchases completing in the next couple of days. The market seems to gain strength again, giving a good benchmark for the up and coming season. The recipe for success lies in the perfect blend of a quality swimming boat show and an attractive but just as important varied support programme. Besides the impressive line-up of Sunseeker yachts ranging from 40 to 115 feet, two Wiesmann Roadster in a „Sunseeker Limited Edition“ proved to be a real eye-catcher throughout the show. Inspired by a maritime look, these outstanding sports cars featuring a white liqueur finish and exclusive Sunseeker branding in the interior were very well received with young and old alike. Only 10 units of the “Sunseeker Limited Edition” will be built, which can be customized to match your

private yacht with an unlimited interior and exterior wish list, all thanks to the finest of craftsmanship with each car being individually hand built to the customers’ requirements. Whilst some gentlemen asked to have a look under the bonnet or even took a seat behind the steering wheel for a test drive, the ladies enjoyed a glass of wine provided by Castell Miquel in bright sunny weather, or explored the fine collection of jewellery and watches from Rüschenbeck jewellery, both long-standing partners of Sunseeker Mallorca and co-exhibitors at the Open Days. Seabob and Nauti Parts were also in attendance to support the event, showing exciting new products.

The concept to combine an in-house boat show with selected associate partners, in parallel with Boat Show Palma, has proven fruitful.
